Foster Update: Nala has been doing well with her training. She has mastered sit and is getting a lot better with leash walking. She is also doing better with our resident cat. The more she settles in, her goofy and quirky personality is coming out! She has found a new love in tennis balls and peanut butter Kongs.
Introducing Nala, a 5 year old, 55 pound, American Bulldog/Pit mix. Nala is rather laid back, exceptionally sweet, and just wants to be loved. She adores everyone she meets and plays beautifully with other dogs. She is very interested in the resident cat at her foster home, thus if her forever home has a cat, the cat should be dog savvy. While Nala is extremely sweet and gentle, she can get excited and jump. Though her foster mom is working on helping her curb this enthusiasm, we feel she is best suited for a home without small children, as she could accidently knock them over. She is eager-to-please and a fast learner. When Nala arrived at the shelter, she was heart worm positive, but has been treated and given a clean bill of health. This gal is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a loving family. She is house trained, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives and eager to find a family to love!
The adoption fee for this dog is $295 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.
